Golden Nugget: Oops! Restore an Earlier Version of Your OneDrive Document
Have you ever accidentally erased important information or saved unwanted changes to a document? Don't worry! Microsoft OneDrive has a helpful feature called Version History that may save the day.
Version History lets you find and restore earlier saved versions of your documents without starting over.
Here's how to use it:
- Visit OneDrive.com and sign in to your Microsoft account.
- Find the document you want to restore.
- Right-click the file and select Version history.
- Review the available versions and find the one you need.
- Click the three dots (...) next to that version and select Restore.
The earlier version becomes your current document.
Why does this matter? One accidental edit doesn't have to mean losing hours of work!
With just a few clicks, you may be able to bring back your important information.
